My favorite Social media. Pros and cons.

Maybe a few months ago I answered that my favorite social network is Facebook, but now I can say:  that it is Instagram. I think I respect the application and what one can do with it. I think at first I see more pros, but the cons can be terrible. I will start with the pros:

1) Message with friends: Instagram chat just keeps getting better. It's colorful, fast, instant, with the ability to send temporary or permanent photos. You can delete the messages or block people what you want

2) Buy and sell: Instagram becomes a market for entrepreneurs. For example, if I have a clothing store, I can list my products, organize purchases, and make a profit from the palm of my hand.

3) Window for own art: It is an ideal platform to publish, share and publicize any type of art that we make. Paintings, choreographies, photographs, songs, etc. There are ways and studies to make the profiles more viral.

4) Prioritization of photographs: The information is contained in the images. This makes it a less tedious and smoother application.

Cons:

I think the great disadvantage of Instagram is the anxiety it can generate, especially in young people and children. It is a platform that invites you to share your private life, therefore, it exposes it to real dangers such as harassment and also superficiality. A representation of oneself is generated, often falsely, to fit into certain unnecessary molds. Filters often hide what we don't want from ourselves and create a fictitious image that temporarily makes us feel better.
